- check brassica for cabbage white butterflies, spray with Dipel if necessary.
- plant asparagus and rhubarb
- sow broad beans, brown onions, salad onions and spring onions; plant potato onions; feed beds lightly with complete organic fertilizer, horse manure or composted hay from chook-pens before sowing and planting 
- harvest: green sprouting broccoli, Brussels Sprouts, savoy cabbages, red cabbages, celery, eggplant, kale, kohlrabi, leek, corn salad, lettuces & Asian greens, mustard, silverbeet, spinach, swede

- continue mulching under fruit trees and berries (berries with a mixture of manure and pine needles)
- pick
      apples: Calville Blanc D’Hiver, Ida Red, Prinzenapfel, Reinette d’Oree, Sturmer, Wellington
- start picking
      apples: Granny Smith, Lady Williams, Rome Beauty
- plant new fruit trees and berries
- clean up all beds; leave cut flowers and herbs as mulch (away from trees)
